Co-ordinator & Research Scholar, Crafts Council of West Bengal, Kolkata, for her study of Satgaon quilts (Indo-Portuguese trade textiles from Bengal) and related materials in the V&A and other UK institutions;
2. Dr J Raja Mohamed
Curator, Government Museum, Pudukkottai, Tamilnadu, for a study of ritual objects, vessels, tools etc of South India, in the collections of the V&A Museum, London;
3. Drrangachar Vasantha
Professor of History, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, for materials pertaining to research on the contribution of Krishnadevaraya Wodeyar III to the field of board games and chess, in the V&A Museum, the British Museum and the British Library, London.

1. Dr Sangeeta Dasgupta
Lecturer, Department of History, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, to study the concept of the Tribe' by means of an analysis of images of the orient in European museum and colonial records.

1. Mrs Parul Pandhya Dhar
Assistant Professor, National Museum Institute, to examine and document the Solanki period torana fragments in the V&A;
