3. Mr M Nooruddin Ansari
Project trainee (conservator), Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi, for a study of the history and conservation needs of the monument Sarsota, at Sahaswan, District Budaun, Uttar Pradesh.
4. Dr (Mrs) S B Darsana
Independent scholar, Thanjavur, for an historical study of the work and writings on megalithic monuments by antiquarian scholars from the early 19th century to the mid-20th century.
5. Mr V P Yathees Kumar
PhD student, Department of History, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, for an archaeological study of the change in settlement patterns of the Amaravathi river valley between the iron age and early medieval times.
6. Dr Manoj Kumar Kurmi
